4 Hurt in Las Lomas Multi-Car Crash on Elkhorn Road

 
LAS LOMAS, CA (April 21, 2022) — Four people were injured in a multi-car accident on Elkhorn Road at Werner Avenue on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the three-vehicle accident happened around 8:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, a woman driving a Mini Cooper southbound on Elkhorn Road struck a Ford pickup turning onto Werner Avenue. Due to the impact, the Ford toppled onto its side and struck a Chevy van stopped on Werner Road.
 
Soon after, North Monterey County firefighters responded to the scene and extricated two men inside the Ford vehicle. As for any reported injuries, the four involved occupants reported only minor bumps and scrapes.
 
At this time, officers have not reported on the ultimate cause or liabilities of the crash. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm any outstanding details.
