Head-On Crash Involving Stolen Vehicle near Roseville Road Sends Four to Hospital

ANTELOPE, CA (October 29, 2022) – Four people were taken to a hospital after a head-on accident near Roseville Road and Whyte Avenue in Antelope on Monday morning.

The accident happened just after 9:00 a.m. on October 24. According to the Sacramento Metro Fire, a Roseville police officer saw a black truck possibly matching the description of a stolen vehicle. The officer tried to catch up to the truck but the driver was speeding.

The truck then went into a curve on Roseville Road and collided head-on with a two-door coupe. The impact left one vehicle partially on a house’s roof.

First responders located two vehicles near a structure and a third vehicle in the street. All were severely damaged from the crash.

The three people inside the coupe, a man in his early 40s, a woman in her 30s, and a child under the age of 10, suffered major injuries. The driver of the truck also sustained major injuries.

Paramedics transported all four patients to a hospital.

Officers believe the driver of the truck was under the influence of drugs. Further investigation is underway.
