3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident at Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road [Phelan, CA]

SUV and Pickup Truck Collide on Phelan Road Injuring Three People

 
PHELAN, CA (March 14, 2023) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road on Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 7:06 a.m. on March 11. According to the CHP, a white Jeep SUV and a gray pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
 
San Bernardino County Fire responded and located the SUV in the intersection with major front-end damage. The pickup truck was in the landscaping of the nearby gas station also with major damage to the passenger side.
 
Firefighters reported a total of three injured patients, one of them requiring minor extrication.
 
Mercy Air 22 landed in a dirt lot of the Stater Bros. shopping center and transported one patient to Antelope Valley Hospital. The other two patients were transported locally by ground ambulance.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
