SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 8, 2023) — Three people reported minor injuries in an officer-involved car accident at Placerita Canyon Road and Sierra Highway.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a multi-car crash happened around 3:35 p.m. Saturday. Surveillance footage captured the moment as a patrol car was making a U-turn before a sedan plowed into the car’s passenger side. Seconds later, a third vehicle traveling in the same direction as the second car struck the patrol vehicle.
 
As a result of the impact, the second vehicle was pushed into a nearby wall.
 
At least three people suffered minor injuries in the accident, and thankfully, neither patient required hospital care.
