Three People Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Accident on Newhall Ranch Road near McBean Parkway

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 10, 2022) – Three people sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on Newhall Ranch Road on Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened on January 5 at about 1:15 p.m. As per reports, two pickup trucks, a work truck, and multiple sedans collided near the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and McBean Parkway.
 
Emergency crews then transported three people to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
Responders later closed all westbound lanes of Newhall Ranch and the majority of north and southbound lanes of McBean Parkway for clearing operations.
 
Los Angeles police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
