FONTANA, CA (January 10, 2022) – A woman sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Foothill Boulevard on Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Fontana Police Department, the incident happened on January 4 at about 6:51 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a white Mercedes SUV and a red Ford Mustang collided just west of Almeria Avenue.
 
The impact of the collision trapped the Mustang driver in her wrecked vehicle. The San Bernardino County Fire Department medics extricated the driver and transported her to a local hospital. As per reports, the Mustang driver sustained moderate injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Mercedes received treatment at the scene.
 
Fontana police ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
