SOLEDAD, CA (May 1, 2023) — Three people suffered injuries after a driver hit a patrol car on Highway 101 near Highway 146.
 
According to the Soledad Police Department, the incident happened Friday night. As an officer and a volunteer were assisting California Highway Patrol officers at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident, another accident occurred.
 
For an unknown reason, a driver crashed into the Soledad Police Department’s SUV. Three people, including the Soledad police officer and a volunteer, were hurt in the crash.
 
Arriving emergency personnel transported all three patients to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.
