3 Hurt, Vehicle Crashes Into Waters near Big Lagoon Park Road in Big Lagoon

 
BIG LAGOON, CA (December 5, 2023) — Three people were injured after a car crashed into nearby waters on Highway 101 near Big Lagoon Park Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car crash happened around 1:35 p.m. on December 4. Under unclear circumstances, a car occupied by three people crashed into nearby waters on the northbound side of Highway 101.
 
Soon after, bystanders stopped to aid the occupants of the vehicle that had submerged about 75 feet from the roadway.
 
Shortly thereafter, paramedics responded to the scene to assist the three patients who appeared to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries. In addition, Buddy’s Towing responded to haul the submerged red pickup truck from the Lagoon.
 
There was no other information surrounding what led to the crash. However, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
