3 Injured, SUV Crashes Into Business on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights

 
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (January 17, 2023) — Three people were injured after a car crashed into a local business on Greenback Lane near Brookhaven Way.
 
According to Sacramento Metro Fire District, the incident happened around 2:00 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a Chevrolet SUV driver lost control and crashed into a Dairy Queen restaurant on Greenback Lane.
 
Three people sitting in a booth inside the Dairy Queen suffered minor injuries. Paramedics took one of the three patients to a hospital for care.
 
Reports did not specify what led to the accident, but an investigation into the crash should confirm the factors. Because Dairy Queen’s wall sustained damage, it will require reconstruction.
