STUDIO CITY, CA (January 17, 2023) — A child is in grave condition following Monday’s multi-car accident on Highway 101 near Tujunga Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 1:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, three cars crashed on the westbound side of the highway. Of the cars involved, one of them overturned.
 
Arriving firefighter-paramedics found one person trapped in a vehicle and needing extrication by officials.
 
As soon as firefighters reached these patients, they brought a man with minor injuries and a woman with serious injuries to a hospital. A child, described as an infant, appeared to be in grave condition.
