14-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured in Rollover Accident on East Ojai Avenue in Ojai

 
OJAI, CA (April 19, 2022) – Four people sustained injuries following a rollover accident on East Ojai Avenue on Thursday morning.
 
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on April 14 at about 8:14 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided head-on in the 1900 block of East Ojai Avenue.
 
The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to fall into a nearby ditch. One of the vehicles involved reportedly rolled over onto its roof.
 
Responders had to free two victims from the overturned vehicle.
 
Emergency crews transported a 14-year-old girl to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of critical but non-life-threatening injuries. Three adults were also hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.
 
As per reports, three drivers were involved in the collision. However, it is unknown how the third vehicle became involved in the accident.
 
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
