CUPERTINO, CA (July 8, 2022) — Two people were injured after a car crashed into a coffee shop on Homestead Road near Foothill Expressway on Thursday.
 
According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon at 22390 Homestead Road. For unknown reasons, a driver of a BMW sedan crashed into the local Starbucks located on Homestead Road.
 
Arriving officials responded and found glass shards littering the tiled floors and overturned furniture. Two people suffered unknown injuries, and paramedics brought both patients to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
Following the accident, police interviewed the driver who remained cooperative during the investigation. At this time, officers have not indicated the leading cause of the crash. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the outstanding details.
