FULLERTON, CA (August 31, 2021) — Two people suffered minor injuries in an airplane crash at Fullerton Airport on Commonwealth Avenue Monday.
 
According to Fullerton police, the crash happened around 1:50 p.m. For unknown reasons, the single-engine Piper PA-24 struck a chain-link fence, possibly coming too low on the approach. The two occupants onboard the small airplane suffered minor injuries.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and tended to their injuries. At this time, the Federal Aviation Administration has no explanation for what caused the accident. However, they have ruled out any criminal activity.
