2 People Die in Rollover Crash on Pioneer Avenue in Redlands

 
REDLANDS, CA (April 17, 2023) — Two men died in a rollover accident on Pioneer Avenue near Texas Street.
 
According to the Redlands Fire Department, the fatal single-car accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
 
For unknown reasons, a white Toyota sedan shuttling two people crashed and overturned. Responding firefighters found the vehicle on its roof and two men trapped inside the wreckage. Also at the scene was a cement light pole that the vehicle possibly struck at some point during the accident.
 
With haste, firefighters used equipment to try and free the victims from the accident yet only to find that both succumbed to their injuries. Reports described the victims as 25- and 26-year-old men.
 
Traffic investigators do not know if impairment or speed played a factor in the accident, but more on this crash will be available once we receive more information.
