Boy Killed in ATV Crash on Riggin Avenue in Visalia

 
VISALIA, CA (April 17, 2023)— A boy died in an ATV accident on Riggin Avenue near Kelsey Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal all-terrain vehicle crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a Chevrolet truck crashed into an ATV driven by the boy.
 
CHP officers and paramedics arrived at the scene, but the child died soon after. Following the accident, the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators who ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors in the accident.
