2 Men Hospitalized in Bicycle Crash on Highway 99 near in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 4, 2023) — Two men suffered severe injuries in a bicycle accident on Highway 99 near Martin Luther King Boulevard.
 
According to the South Sacramento California Highway Patrol officers, the bicycle crash happened around 6:00 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the two male cyclists near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Fruitridge Road.
 
Subsequently, the Sacramento Fire Department responded to the scene to assist the two critically injured victims. Meanwhile, the box truck driver stayed on site and was not impaired during the crash.
