CRENSHAW, CA (December 6, 2022) – Two LAPD officers sustained injuries in a DUI accident on Hillcrest Drive, Sunday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on December 4, at about 5:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle and a southbound patrol car collided near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
 
The impact of the collision trapped the passenger officer. After extrication, both officers were transported to the hospital. As per reports, one officer suffered significant injuries and the other officer sustained minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver of the other vehicle. Investigators believe that the driver may have been impaired at the time of the collision.
