2 Dead in Single-Car Crash on 80 Freeway in Woodland

 
WOODLAND, CA (November 28, 2022) — Two people died in a solo-car accident on the 80 Freeway near County Road 32A.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. That Thanksgiving morning, a driver of a Ford heading westbound on the 80 Freeway was likely moving at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, the car left the road and traveled in a northwesterly direction before crashing.
 
As a result of the accident, the driver and front-seat passenger suffered fatal injuries. A third occupant suffered major injuries and was brought to a hospital for care.
