2 Injured in Big Rig Pileup Crash on 80 Freeway in Truckee

 
TRUCKEE, CA (November 4, 2022) — Two people were injured in a semi-truck pileup accident on the 80 Freeway near Gold Ranch Road on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 5:30 a.m. Upon responding, fire officials found about six semi-trucks and one passenger vehicle that had collided near Verdi, Nev.
 
At the time of the accident, snow was falling, and the roads were slick and icy.
