LAKEVIEW, CA (November 30, 2023) — Two people were injured in a head-on accident on Ramona Expressway at 6th Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 4:17 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a pickup truck and a sedan collided, sending both cars to the westbound side of the two-lane highway.
 
Soon after, Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived and found two people trapped in the wreckage. After firefighters extricated the patients, they transported them to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
