Two Drivers Hospitalized after Head-On Accident on Willow Glen Drive in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 22, 2022) – Two drivers sustained injuries in a head-on accident on Willow Glen Drive on Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 21 at about 9:25 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a black Kia crossed the double yellow lines.
 
Then, the Kia collided head-on with a white Toyota Camry. As per reports, the Kia driver swerved back into the westbound lanes and hit a gold Honda Accord.
 
Emergency crews transported the 41-year-old Kia driver and 45-year-old Camry driver to Sharp Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old Honda driver did not sustain injuries.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
