Teen Hurt in Car Accident on Ridgecrest Road [Victorville, CA]

Minor Injuries in T-Bone Car Accident on Ridgecrest Road near Yates Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 22, 2022) – A teen sustained injuries following a T-bone car accident on Ridgecrest Road, late Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 20 at about 4:52 p.m. Witnesses claimed that a black BMW sedan lost control at the curve, hit the dirt, and went sideways.
 
An oncoming pickup truck pulling a trailer could not stop in time and T-boned the sedan near Yates Road.
 
As per reports, a teen inside the pickup truck sustained cuts to his head.
 
Responders temporarily closed affected areas until 7:15 p.m. to make way for clearing operations.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
