2 Hospitalized in Moorpark 4-Car Crash on Moorpark Road

 
MOORPARK, CA (July 27, 2023) — Two people were injured in a 4-car accident on Moorpark Road near Tierra Rejada Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning. Around 7:20 a.m., an SUV driver crossed from the northbound to the southbound lanes for unknown reasons.
 
Subsequently, the SUV struck a timber truck and a truck hauling a forklift and steel on a trailer. From there, the SUV collided with another vehicle in the northbound lane.
 
Due to the accident, one vehicle overturned, and lumber littered the roadway.
 
Responding traffic investigators and paramedics brought two people to a hospital in fair condition. In addition, authorities closed Tierra Rejada Road due to the accident.
