2 Killed, 1 Hurt, 2-Car Crash on Demaree Street in Visalia

 
VISALIA, CA (March 17, 2023) — Two people died in a 2-car accident on Demaree Street and Whitendale Avenue.
 
According to Visalia police officers, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a driver of a black northbound GMC truck veered into the southbound lanes of Demaree Street. Subsequently, the truck crashed into a black Cadillac sedan occupied by two people.
 
Paramedics rushed to the scene and brought the GMC driver to a hospital for treatment. However, the driver and passenger of the sedan perished in the crash. Authorities withheld their identities pending confirmation and notification of family members.
