Man Hospitalized in Pedestrian Crash on Valley Center Road in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 17, 2023) — A man was injured in a pedestrian accident on Valley Center Road near Sunset Road.
 
According to reports, the pedestrian crash happened around 7:35 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a man was reportedly walking in the eastbound lane of Valley Center Road when a 26-year-old woman in a Volkswagen Jetta struck him with her eastbound vehicle.
 
First Responders arrived soon after and took the man to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Meanwhile, the woman stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
Detectives ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors in the accident, but an ongoing investigation should confirm the details and liabilities of this crash.
