19-Year-Old Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Driver Who Left Ashlan Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (October 5, 2023) — A 19-year-old died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Ashlan Avenue and Valentine Avenue.
 
According to Fresno Police Officers, the fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a 19-year-old woman crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk with another pedestrian.
 
Shortly after, police and paramedics responded to find the victim and the second pedestrian. However, the victim passed away from her wounds.
 
Right now, police officers do not have information on the driver who left the scene. Although, they plan to interview the deceased victim’s companion. If anyone has seen this crash, please call the Fresno Police.
