Landon Watson, Stefan Venne Injured in Solo-Car Accident on Genesee Road in Pulmas County

 
PLUMAS COUNTY, CA (August 10, 2022) – Police identified 18-year-old Landon Watson as one of the two victims who were hurt in a car accident on Genesee Road on August 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred 1.3 miles west of Grizzly Road around 7:47 PM.
 
Based on reports, 21-year-old Stefan Venne of Fairfax was driving his 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit with Watson as a passenger. The car was traveling eastbound on Genesee at an unknown rate of speed when it veered off the south side of the roadway. Subsequently, it collided into a tree.
 
As a result, Venne was trapped inside the Volkswagen. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and sent both Venne and Watson to Renown Regional Medical Center in a helicopter.
 
At this point, no other details are available. Also, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
