14-Year-Old Boy Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Thorne Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (December 2, 2021) — A 14-year-old boy was injured in a pedestrian accident on Thorne Avenue at Ashlan Avenue Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian incident happened around 8:00 a.m. For reasons that require further investigation, a driver struck the teen as he was walking in the crosswalk.
 
As a result of the crash, the boy suffered moderate injuries and sought care at a nearby hospital.
