Pedestrian Nicole Higgins Hit, Killed by Vehicle in Highland

 
HIGHLAND PARK, CA (December 2, 2021) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Arroyo Seco Parkway in the Highland Park area on Tuesday, November 30.
 
35-year-old Nicole Higgins, whose city of residence was not disclosed, died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. near Avenue 60. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking southbound on Arroyo Seco Parkway when a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, Higgins died shortly after the accident.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. According to police, the driver was not arrested.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
