Teen Sustained Injuries in Pedestrian Accident on 5th Street near Baron Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (October 25, 2022) — A 13-year-old suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on 5th Street on Monday, October 24.
 
According to the Clovis Police Department, the accident happened when the child tried to cross 5th Street at a crosswalk. It occurred at about 7:00 a.m. in front of Clark Intermediate School in Clovis.
 
Medics transported the child to the hospital with injuries. Officials said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
 
Officers said the teen had some scrapes. Additionally, the teen was talking and never lost consciousness.
