Bicyclist Suffers Major Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (October 25, 2022) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at Central Avenue and Fig Avenue in Fresno on Saturday evening.
 
The crash happened just before 7:00 p.m. on October 22. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to a report of a bicyclist lying down in the roadway.
 
Upon arrival, officers found the bicyclist suffering from major injuries. The victim appeared to have been struck by a vehicle that had fled the scene.
 
Paramedics transported the bicyclist to Community Regional Medical Center in an unknown condition.
 
There is no description of the suspect vehicle and driver. Police did not release any additional information. However, the crash remains under investigation at this time.
