ARROYO GRANDE, CA (December 29, 2021) – A person became trapped after a car accident on West Branch Street, Monday.
 
According to the Five Cities Fire Authority, the incident happened on December 27. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle went off the roadway and ended up in the drainage at 1500 West Branch Street and Oak Park Boulevard.
 
Fire officials extricated one person from the vehicle. As per reports, the victim sustained injuries. However, it is unknown whether the person needed hospitalization.
 
Responders temporarily blocked affected areas to make way for clearing operations.
