Kayla McCally Arrested after Intentionally Hitting Woman During Fight in Magalia

 
MAGALIA, CA (March 18, 2022) – A woman sustained serious injuries after she was intentionally hit by another woman on Oak Park Drive, Monday evening.
 
According to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on March 14 at about 10:21 p.m. As per reports, the victim and 29-year-old Kayla McCally of Westwood had a fight.
 
During the fight, McCally entered the victim’s vehicle and hit her. Then, the vehicle crashed into a tree.
 
McCally immediately fled the scene on foot.
 
Emergency crews rushed the victim to a hospital for emergency surgery. Authorities confirmed that the victim remains in critical condition.
 
Deputies later located McCally at a home on Billie Road in Paradise. She was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting great bodily injury during the commission of a felony, felony hit-and-run, and felony driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the incident.
