1 Person Hurt in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Olive Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (April 4, 2022) — One person was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Olive Avenue near Warren Avenue on March 4.
 
According to Fresno Police, the hit-and-run bicycle crash happened around 8:00 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a driver in a dark-colored SUV struck a bicyclist at the intersection.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and brought the victim to an area hospital for treatment of a broken leg.
 
As for the driver, he or she was seen heading south on Warren Avenue before entering a parking lot to the East and disappearing. At this time, detectives believe the involved vehicle is a Chevrolet SUV with tinted windows and dark rims.
