1 Person Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash on Highway 101 in Los Alamos

 
LOS ALAMOS, CA (December 22, 2022) — One person was injured in a 2-car accident on Highway 101 near Alisos Canyon Road Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 8:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes. For unknown reasons, a car crashed into another, causing one vehicle to overturn on its roof and the other one to travel toward the center median.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel reached the scene and brought one person to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria. Authorities have not indicated the leading cause of the crash, which closed the southbound lanes for several moments.
