1 Person Killed in Solo-Car Crash on 10 Freeway Ramp

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 1, 2022) — One person died in a solo-car accident on the 10 Freeway ramp to the 215 Freeway on Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car accident occurred around 2:05 a.m. For possible reckless driving reasons, a driver of a black Scion tC lost control of the vehicle and overturned. Subsequently, the compact vehicle traveled down an embankment and ejected one person from the cabin.
 
One person died in the accident. However, at this time it is unknown if the fatal victim was the driver or a passenger.
 
Soon after, CHP officers and paramedics arrived and found three people inside the vehicle. Paramedics transported all three patients to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
At this time, officers believe reckless driving may have precipitated the cause of the accident. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the outstanding details.
