Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash near Erwin Street in Valley Glen

 
VALLEY GLEN, CA (January 8, 2024) — One person died in a multi-car crash near Irwin Street and Woodman Avenue.
 
According to Los Angeles police, the fatal multi-car crash happened around 1:00 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a Lexus driver lost control while heading northbound on Woodman Avenue and crashed into a gray pickup. Subsequently, the Lexus reportedly struck two parked cars before hitting a telephone pole.
 
Following the crash, paramedics responded to the scene but confirmed the front passenger of the Lexus dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics brought the Lexus driver to a hospital in an unknown condition and another passenger who had an injury to his or her face. The mom, dad and daughter in the gray pickup were also hurt but will survive their injuries, police confirmed.
