Fatal Crash on Good Friday along 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (April 19, 2022) – One person died in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened just before 2:00 p.m. on April 15 just north of Highway 138. According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi truck, a silver Honda, a blue Kia and a motorcycle collided for unknown reasons.
 
San Bernardino County Firefighters responded and found the motorcycle down on the roadway. The other vehicles were across all lanes, from shoulder to shoulder.
 
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. At least two others had minor injuries, CHP officials said.
 
Just before 5:00 p.m., traffic on southbound 15 Freeway was slow-moving. The northbound lanes were congested as commuters headed toward the High Desert and Las Vegas.
 
No other details were available. This fatal crash is under investigation.
