1 Killed, 2 Critically Injured in Accident on 66th Street [South Los Angeles, CA]

Two-Vehicle Accident on East 66th Street in South LA Kills One and Critically Injures Two

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 8, 2021) – One person died and two others suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle accident on East 66th Street in South Los Angeles Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:55 p.m. on November 5 near Central Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
 
Fire crews found three people involved, with one trapped in the wreckage. Paramedics performed life-saving aid, but one died at the scene. The victim’s name was yet not released pending notification of next of kin.
 
Two other people were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this time, the ultimate cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
