Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on East Avenue O in Palmdale

 
PALMDALE, CA (August 24, 2022) – One person died and another was injured in a two-vehicle accident on East Avenue O in Palmdale on Monday afternoon, August 22.
 
Around 1:20 p.m., CHP officers responded to the 23000 block of East Avenue O near Sierra Highway after receiving reports of a traffic collision involving two vehicles.
 
When they arrived, they found one person dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department units rescued one person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles. They took the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation. It is unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
