Police Pursuit Involving Armed Robbery Suspect Ends in Deadly Crash on San Bruno Avenue in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 3, 2023) – One person died and another was injured when a police pursuit ended in a crash at San Bruno Avenue and Mansell Street on Saturday afternoon.
 
Around 4:04 p.m. on September 30, officers spotted a vehicle that was wanted in connection with an armed robbery and auto burglaries. The vehicle fled before officers could stop it leading to the chase.
 
The pursuit ended when the vehicle struck a fixed object at San Bruno Avenue and Mansell Street near the Paul Street off-ramp of Highway 101.
 
Officers removed the occupants from the vehicle. They pronounced one dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics took a second person to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
