HESPERIA, CA (September 17, 2024) — A person suffered a minor injury after a California Highway Patrol officer crashed into a driver on Main Street near E Avenue.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle collision happened around 11:10 a.m. Sunday. A witness reported seeing a CHP officer speeding down Main Street with no light or a siren turned on. Subsequently, the Dodge Charger patrol vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Trax turning left into the Burger King parking lot.
 
As a result of the impact, both cars ended up on the sidewalk with significant damage. Fortunately, the CHP officer was unharmed, but the other driver reported minor injuries.
