GLENDORA, CA (March 12, 2024) — One person was injured after a car crashed down a hillside on Glendora Mountain Road near Mile Marker 6.2.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the single-car crash happened around 1:00 a.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a driver lost control on Glendora Mountain Road. Subsequently, the vehicle left the road and plummeted about 200 feet down a hillside.
 
Subsequently, an occupant in the vehicle self-extricated themselves to climb up the hill and flag down some help. Soon after, firefighters arrived and lowered down a rope system to rescue a second person trapped in the vehicle. After hoisting the person by a helicopter, paramedics took the individual to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
At the time of the report, traffic investigators did not say what led to the crash. However, if anyone has more information, please call the California Highway Patrol.
