1 Hurt, Multi-Car Collision on 91 Freeway in Corona

 
CORONA, CA (October 17, 2023) — One person suffered minor injuries following Monday’s 5-car crash on the 91 Freeway near McKinley Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car collision happened around 11:35 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, four sedans and a tractor-trailer collided on the eastbound side of the 91 Freeway. Minutes later, Corona Fire Department paramedics arrived and tended to one driver who sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, no one else requested any medical attention.
 
Due to the scattered debris at the crash site, several lanes were blocked, and one car remained stalled in the No. 3 lane. Of the five cars, two of them were inoperable.
