1 Hospitalized, 3 Detained in Police Pursuit Crash at Santa Fe Avenue in Vernon

 
VERNON, CA (June 27, 2023) — One person was injured, and three people face charges following a police chase accident at Santa Fe Avenue and 38th Street.
 
According to reports, three suspects in a vehicle reportedly fled from police Friday. Around 6:45 a.m., the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a passing Jeep, sending the SUV flipping in the air and crashing into a fence.
 
One person suffered injuries in the accident. Surveillance footage showed two people running away from the scene and a third man scrambling under a fence.
 
Fortunately, police arrested all three suspects. The Jeep driver suffered unspecified injuries and sought hospital care, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
