GLENN COUNTY, CA (February 7, 2023) — One person was injured in a two-car accident on Highway 162 near County Road V.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 8:00 a.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed just west of Willows. One driver suffered unknown injuries and was airlifted by an air ambulance to a hospital. During the investigation, CHP officers learned that one person was trying to make a left turn onto County Road V when the accident occurred.
 
Arriving authorities had to close the highway for roughly one hour to tend to the patients and collision.
