CARUTHERS, CA (February 7, 2023) — A rider suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 41 near Elkhorn Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened around 3:00 p.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, a motorcyclist and a car crashed on the southbound side of the highway. Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the rider to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
There was no information on the factors leading to the crash or if the driver reported any injuries. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
