CHULA VISTA, CA (July 5, 2022) — One person was injured in a 2-car accident at Bonita Road and Plaza Bonita Road on Monday afternoon.
 
According to Chula Vista Police, the two-vehicle collision happened around 3:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a white Toyota pickup crashed into a second car before veering out of control and hitting a commercial office building at 3130 Bonita Road.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the driver for minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officials inspected the building to find moderate damage to its structure.
