Daniel Andrade Detained in DUI 2-Car Crash on Christoffersen Parkway at Olive Avenue

 
TURLOCK, CA (July 5, 2022) — Daniel Andrade of Denair faces charges in a DUI accident on Christoffersen Parkway at Olive Avenue on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:53 p.m. Upon responding, Turlock Police and firefighters found a gray Honda sedan and a black Chevrolet pickup truck. For DUI-related reasons, 28-year-old Andrade crashed his Chevrolet pickup into the gray Honda, which was carrying three people inside.
 
Soon after, officials responded and treated two Honda occupants with minor injuries and one Honda occupant with major injuries whom they brought to a local hospital.
 
Meanwhile, Andrade exhibited signs of intoxication. As a result, investigators performed a sobriety test, which led to his arrest.
 
Following the accident, police booked him into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and other charges. If anyone has more information on this accident, please call the CHP.
