1 Dead in Two-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway [Norco, CA]

Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway near Sixth Street in Norco

 
NORCO, CA (February 4, 2021) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway, Sunday January 24.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 10:50 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, the driver of a blue Ford Mustang was traveling recklessly on 15 Freeway. Then, it collided with a white Ford pickup near Sixth Street.
 
Both vehicles went off the side of the road as a result of the impact.
 
Emergency crews pronounced one person dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the name of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Investigators did not release details about other possible injuries sustained in the collision.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
